[ORLANDO MAGIC] Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Graduate Associate

This role serves a project management, content management and research function, contributing to the development, delivery and amplification of various diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) related activations.  The primary focus will be to provide support related to a range of DEI trainings and employee network events.  The position will also be responsible for creating and presenting a strategic framework for identifying and successfully engaging HBCU’s that will serve as a viable pipeline to diverse talent.  Lastly, this position will curate content for the Magic Diversity intranet site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing DEI projects including all events and activations

  • Helping drive tactical plans for all Employee Resource Groups

  • Managing the Magic Diversity intranet site content

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.

  • Academic and/or work experiences related to one or more of the following Leadership, Management, Human Resources, Diversity, Human Behavior in the Organization.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.

  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.

  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.

  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.

  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.

COMPENSATION

  • 5 days of PLT

  • $18/hour plus overtime

This position will start on 8/25/25and run through 6/26/26.
